Gareth Fitzpatrick is a World Religions Expert, Demonologist, and Occult Sciences Expert with a decade of experience serving the Los Angeles basin with some experience in Ventura County and one very difficult case in the Inland Empire (will never return!) With multiple degrees in religion and world history, Gareth has been able to **answer the call** (as it were) and assist in the identification of demons from many cultures and time-periods.
Gareth’s aim is a kind and user-friendly approach to demonic presences and entities, keeping people feeling safe and cared for even as they participate in and battle between good and evil as old as time immemorial. In every encounter, Gareth's aim is to empower both the afflicted and their family and pets, help them to come to grips with their possession(s) and get them the help they need. He accepts no fee, as he sees his work as that of moving the human race forward.
ABOUT
Gareth lives in Sylmar with his primary partner Tiffany and secondary partner Marge. He is an avid birder. He placed third in the 2003 amateur birding international in Glasgow and is planning to release a series of birding videos to accompany his demonology work once the price of high-def cameras drops.
EDUCATION
Gareth grew up in a Spanish colonial revival house in northeast Los Angeles with very dark energy, partly due to both his parents being LAPD officers with anger management problems. Also, his house was haunted by the ghost of a teen girl who hung herself in the guest bathroom. Gareth’s grandmother was a religious zealot and insisted that a local priest Father M come to the house to cleanse it.
Gareth found himself identifying more with the ghost (her name was Beth) than he did with anyone else in his family which drew him to occult studies and after he completed college he dove into the subject headfirst— traveling all over Romania and Israel offering to intern for any historians and archaeologists he could find.
After three years as an adjunct professor of Ancient History at Spokane Community College he was let go after students complained he kept talking about demons. (But those students are wrong and demons are very, very real.)
PROCESS
Taking much of his occult knowledge from ceremonial magick dating back as far as the Assyrians as well as King Solomon, Gareth uses the knowledge he has gained to identify the entity. Gareth does perform ritual cleansings to help force the entity into dormancy or banish it altogether. Gareth finds exorcism to be barbaric and refuses to perform them just as a point of pride. Even with the belief in inhuman entities (ghosts and demons) Gareth must come at it with a skeptical eye, and consults regularly with therapists and psychologists about his cases and also just as a mental health check-in because we are living in crazy times.
Gareth has written several self-published books that will be available on this website when the publishers stops holding them hostage. Gareth is a frequent guest on podcasts (many of which Marge and Tiffany produce) and occasionally performs short-form improv comedy at the “Ow My Ribs” comedy theater in Sylmar.
